Our Shared Journey
We are all on the Way of Jesus. For us, this journey is a life-long process of coming to know God, follow Christ, and keep in step with the Holy Spirit. Christian life together means carrying each other’s loads and encouraging one another along the road.
Our life as pilgrims is characterized by both humility and hope. We confess our sins to one another because there is no place among us for self-righteousness. We celebrate God’s work to produce Christlikeness in us. In all things, we give glory to God, who leads us, saves us, and transforms us.
Open Communion
All are welcome to Jesus’s table. We celebrate communion every week with bread and grape juice, and no one who desires to take the body and blood of Christ is excluded. We invite everyone to remember the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, our Lord. We celebrate our fellowship with every person whom Christ’s blood makes holy.
Missional Life
Our life is oriented outward, toward God’s work in the world. As disciples of Jesus, we believe the words of his prayer: “As the Father has sent me, so I send you” (John 20:21). Our identity—our life together—is constituted by our participation in the life of the Triune God. This life is revealed in the Father sending the Son, and the Father and Son sending the Holy Spirit and the church in the power of the Spirit.
