Foreign Mission at SRC

Brett and Christie Harrison

Brett and Christie Harrison, along with their three children, have served in Geita, Tanzania, since 2009. They engage in discipleship and church planting, integrating compassionate ministry and sustainable development in the areas of agriculture, healthcare, education, economics, and family. They are committed to assisting the people of Geita holistically while pointing them to kingdom living and God’s love.

The Harrisons founded Red Knot Racing Company as a social enterprise in 2012 to fund community development work. The company organizes trail run and mountain bike events on Kilimanjaro, allowing participants to use their passions to make genuine impact on the lives of Tanzanian people.

Non-profit organization Red Knot Development was registered in 2019 to scale existing community development work while expanding its scope to include sports development and wildlife conservation.

Red Knot Development (US) partners with social enterprise Red Knot Tanzania and Tanzanian NGO One World Sustainable Livelihoods to accomplish good in Tanzania. Red Knot Development is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the state of Alabama, USA. All donations are tax-deductible (EIN 86-3170775).

Red Knot Safari Company is the newest piece of the puzzle, customizing world-class safari and adventure itineraries for international travelers. The company provides customized travel experiences with emphases on active holidays, adventure, and cultural learning. Red Knot Safari Company puts a minimum of 2% of all revenue into community development work in Tanzania, in addition to creating valuable jobs.

Not only do these initiatives fund community development, but they also provide access and credibility, expanding reach and influence in Tanzania and abroad.

Please pray for the Harrisons, and prayerfully consider linking arms financially with them in their work.
